My story

I am Jonathan and I live in Comayagua, Honduras. I began to know God in 2019, the first time I came to Catracho Missions. I have walked with the ministry all these years, learning and being formed for life. Many times I asked myself why I was here, why I was in missions, and one day I found myself praying about exactly that. The Lord answered in Jeremiah chapter 1: a call to missions.

2024 became my year of commitment to God’s ministry, and the Lord has placed me in positions of privilege. It has also been a hard year, because my family does not believe and they constantly press me to find a job and start making money. But I have decided to live by faith, by the mercy of the Lord: I have no financial support, but my heart is willing to walk for the message of the gospel.

I am being trained as a pastor, teacher and evangelist, carrying out the ministry of reconciliation in the mountains and at my university. My heart keeps moving so that every man, woman and child has the chance to hear the gospel, walking in the city and in the mountains with the rest of the team. Whatever the circumstances, God keeps taking care of me.

My goal is to be a fit servant and a healthy leader for others, modeling life and a relationship with God that impacts lives. I want to walk freely in the gospel with a project that sustains me, and to grow spiritually, personally and intellectually in God’s calling. Pray for us.
