A beacon of hope in the rural communities of Honduras.
Vision
To be a beacon of hope and transformation in the rural communities of Honduras, where every person has the chance to experience the gospel in a tangible, relational way, fostering sustainable development and faith.
Mission
To serve the neediest communities of Honduras by showing the love of Christ through community development and spiritual transformation. We train leaders, support local churches and run projects that improve people’s quality of life.
Saturation evangelism
The heart of every Catracho missionary is that each man, woman and child has repeated opportunities to see, hear and touch the gospel of Jesus Christ in a living, relational way, understanding that baptism is an identity in Christ.
We work through saturation evangelism: an intentional process that moves the gospel through a person’s different relationships and circles of life. We want to see many homes in Comayagua come to Jesus and open their doors to the gospel. Our method is to create social contribution projects that give people repeated chances to know Jesus as their Savior.
Preaching the gospel takes us beyond an agenda or a program. For us it is a way of life, modeled through many relationships, of our own relationship and life with Jesus.

Holistic ministry
Holistic comes from the Greek holos, meaning whole. Applied to ministry, it is the conviction that our purpose must reach the whole of human life and society, not only the spiritual or religious part.
In practice it means moving from emergency relief alone to sustainable development and justice, addressing the root causes of need, through programs that seek the integral growth of people.
