Ellien Galindo

My story

My name is Ellien Galindo. I live in Comayagua, Honduras, and I am a volunteer missionary with Catracho Missions. I accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior four years ago, and I am part of Campus Ambassadors. As an agro-export engineering student, I feel a deep passion for serving as a missionary. My main goal is to build Christ-centered relationships and share the love of Jesus with the people around me.

Right now I serve at the ministry’s farm. This work matters a lot to me, because it gives children a space to have fun and learn, a safe place to play. The farm is also where we welcome schools for children with disabilities, and university groups who come to do their professional practice or social projects.

Since I accepted Jesus I have grown spiritually and developed a deep relationship with God. My desire is to keep growing in my faith and to be an instrument in God’s hands to impact the lives of others. I believe God has called me to be a light in this world and to share the good news of his love with everyone I meet.
